AIB – American Institute of Baking

AIB is a non-profit company that is concerned with food safety, food hygiene, and GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). AIB performs audits to businesses that wish to adhere to specific standards in the food preparation, food handling, transport, storage, and food packaging industry (amongst others).

Comprehensive GMP Inspections evaluate the adequacy of:

• Operational Methods and Personnel Practices
• Maintenance for Food Safety
• Cleaning Practices
• Integrated Pest Management
• Adequacy of Prerequisite and Food Safety Programs

In addition, the supplier continually monitors the food safety program through monthly internal self-inspections.
