Offset Press Operator
cei, a market leading supplier of many flexible packaging and technical products located in Wrightstown, WI has an immediate opening for a full-time Offset Press Operator on our 12 hour rotating shift schedule.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for running product on a press, directing the assistant on the press and for the quality of product that is running by performing the following duties.
• Read job orders for accurate information and ensures that crew is following special instructions.
• Starts press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment of printing plate if necessary.
• Match and maintain ink color as needed.
• Cuts sample of printed material from end of printed roll and inspects for imperfections.
• Recommends specification changes based on machine performance and/or product runnability.
• Responsible for running quality product while meeting or exceeding company standards/run speeds.
• Responsible for minor maintenance.
• Troubleshoots quality printing issues in a timely manner.
• Able to adjust quality of paper using unwind and/or rewind tensions.
• Provides direction to assistants; teaches assistants all threading patterns and quality control test methods and procedures.
• Completes checklist for jobs going in the press and product run check sheet. Checks run condition reports for completion and accuracy.
• Operate anilox cleaner for cleaning anilox rolls.
Qualifications
Successful candidates should have High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Black Belt Engineer
cei, a market leading supplier of many flexible packaging and technical products located in Wrightstown, WI has an immediate opening for a Black Belt Engineer as part of the Continuous Improvement Team reporting to the Vice President of Continuous Improvement. The Black Belt Engineer manages and leads Process Improvement projects to help cei reduce defects and waste while maximizing product and service quality by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
• Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
• Manages and Leads process improvement projects across all areas of the business as assigned utilizing Six Sigma Tolls and Techniques such as DMAIC and DFSS. Proficiency with control charts, histograms, statistical analysis, DOE’s, root cause analysis, preventive/corrective action implementation, control plans, statistical software, etc.
• Creates project plans and guides team members, including green and yellow belts, to complete their projects in a timely manner.
• Provides six Sigma training in the tools and techniques to the organization, specific to the job function or project requirement.
• Identifies highly impactful, ROI projects across the organization.
• Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with co workers, customers, and suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• 4 year BS degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, quality or Six Sigma position.
• Black Belt Certification.
• Proficient user in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and statistical software package.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must maintain confidentiality of information when appropriate.
• Decisive and persuasive.

Network Administrator

The Network Administrator analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
• Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
• Insures that network is running efficiently and allows for effective communication between customers, vendors, and other cei employees. Troubleshoots and resolves any network, hardware issues affecting communication.
• Insures Core Systems (ERP, Exchange, Shop Floor) including all other systems are functioning and performing effectively allowing cei to conduct business activities.
• Identifies utilization patterns and their effect on operation/system availability and defines performance expectations while anticipating communication and networking problems. Implements preventative measures to minimize downtime and increase service levels.
• Procurement of vendor engagements to resolve issues that internally there is a lack of experience. Document all knowledge transfer from vendor engagement.
• Evaluates/recommends and purchases computers, network hardware and software to maintain adequate service levels needed for corporate communications.
• Plans and implements network security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery, file system integrity, and all housekeeping of users and user access including asset management of all systems.
• Maintains daily data center activities, ensuring disaster recovery procedures are implemented in accordance with documented procedures, policies and standards.
• On call rotational support. Must be available to work after hours if a situation requires it.
• Occasional travel for system repairs/updates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination education and experience. Knowledge of Axapta software and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification or equivalent preferred.
