 SHIFT SUPERVISOR
cei, a market leading supplier of many flexible packaging and technical products located in Wrightstown, WI has an immediate opening for a Shift Supervisor in our Press/Laminations Area. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for safety, quality, production and personnel issues for an assigned department/shift through direction and coordination of people and duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Holds all crews accountable for working safely and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures. Assists EHS Manager in investigations of incidents and near misses and conducts RCAs to determine corrective actions. Develops new SOPs if necessary to support safety initiatives and trains personnel against new SOPs.

• Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
• Reviews SIC boards with production employees. Ensures all machines are running to standard by team; delegates and assigns responsibilities as needed to run shift efficiently. Leverages opportunities to increase productivity and decrease waste.
• Monitors all personnel for compliance with company policies and procedures. Completes and conducts all employee performance evaluations.
• Coordinates training of all personnel by use of SOPs.
• Responsible for keeping supplies in storeroom for crews.
• Conducts weekly safety, 5S, and BRC audits.
• Runs condition audits by use of Process Lead Audit.
• Assists as needed on trials. Works with customers, operators and product development.
• Reviews production reports. Records and corrects errors. Completes shift variance reports for managers on each shift.
• Has a working knowledge of Axapta, Hawkeye, and Seka computer systems. Assists in troubleshooting and problem solving issues. Enters ER requests as needed.
• Completes Root Cause Analysis with production crew for good corrective actions.
• Communicates daily with managers and crews to discuss any issues/concerns. Serves as a liaison between hourly production personnel and manager, particularly on night shifts and weekends when managers are not on-site.
• Motivates and retains critical personnel to meet and exceed internal company goals.
• Assists Manager with developing and distributing machines schedules. Approves weekly timesheets for production personnel. Approves/denies vacation requests within company guidelines.
• Participates in hiring and disciplinary actions with assistance and approval of manager and human resources.
• Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with co workers and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Associates degree (A.A.) in management from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent. Five to ten years of manufacturing experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Axapta Database software; Hawkeye; Seka; Microsoft Outlook Internet software; Axapta Inventory software; Axapta and Shop Floor Manufacturing software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word word processing software

Black Belt Engineer
cei, a market leading supplier of many flexible packaging and technical products located in Wrightstown, WI has an immediate opening for a Black Belt Engineer as part of the Continuous Improvement Team reporting to the Vice President of Continuous Improvement. The Black Belt Engineer manages and leads Process Improvement projects to help cei reduce defects and waste while maximizing product and service quality by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
• Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
• Manages and Leads process improvement projects across all areas of the business as assigned utilizing Six Sigma Tolls and Techniques such as DMAIC and DFSS. Proficiency with control charts, histograms, statistical analysis, DOE’s, root cause analysis, preventive/corrective action implementation, control plans, statistical software, etc.
• Creates project plans and guides team members, including green and yellow belts, to complete their projects in a timely manner.
• Provides six Sigma training in the tools and techniques to the organization, specific to the job function or project requirement.
• Identifies highly impactful, ROI projects across the organization.
• Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with co workers, customers, and suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• 4 year BS degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, quality or Six Sigma position.
• Black Belt Certification.
• Proficient user in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and statistical software package.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must maintain confidentiality of information when appropriate.
• Decisive and persuasive.
